The French Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain and the Franco-British Chamber of Commerce in France are jointly organising the Franco-British Business Awards (FBBA) designed to encourage and promote the bilateral trade and economic links that exist between France and the UK by recognising the expertise and success of French and British companies, both blue-chip and SMEs since 2000.This year, the awards were held in Paris.
'Celebrating the links between our two countries, strengthening the Franco-British relationship as well as the significance of the work of both our Chambers, these Awards exist to recognise and pay tribute to the hard work and creative spirit of Franco British companies'. The Franco-British Business Awards have been recognising and rewarding success in cross-border trade and investments between France and Great Britain since 2000.
The 2011 competition featured the following prizes:
- SME/Entrepreneur Award
- Award for Innovation
- The Jury's Special Award
The Awards Ceremony took place in Paris on 15 November 2011 under the patronage of H.E Sir Peter Westmacott, the British Ambassador to France and H.E. Bernard Emié, the French Ambassador to the UK.
