Bertrand Michaud has worked for Hermès for the past twenty years. Prior to his most recent appointment as Managing Director of Hermès GB since September 2012, he held the position of Regional Managing Director of 'Hermès India, Middle East and South East Asia', based in New Delhi, and responsible for Hermès in India, the Middle East, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines and Africa. Before his four year appointment in New Delhi, Michaud spent eleven years in Hong Kong as Regional Managing Director of 'Hermès Asia Pacific'. Michaud is a graduate of the University of Paris with a Masters of Law, of Political Sciences and a pre-doctoral degree in Defence Studies. He also attended the Institut des Hautes Études de Défense Nationale. Michaud was recently appointed a board member of the Agence Française pour les Investissements Internationaux, and is a member of the Légion d'honneur. |

Aimed at top players within the luxury sector, the French Chamber’s Luxury Club is reserved exclusively for companies operating within luxury markets such as major brands, high-end hotels or Michelin-starred Chefs who face similar challenges in the current economic climate. In addition to providing a networking platform, the Club holds its regular sessions in prestigious London Hotels and has a dedicated mission to offer crucial information and services through the exchange of experiences, know-how and best practice. Sessions are intimate, by invitation only and follow the Chatham House Rule. - Upcoming Sessions & Events

- On the 14th May 2013, our Luxury Club breakfast focusing on Art & Luxury will be hosted at the Royal Academy of Arts.
- Chaired by Bertrand Michaud, with guest of honour Dr. Charles Saumarez Smith CBE, Secretary and Chief Executive of the Royal Academy of Arts, and guest speaker Nigel Hurst, Chief Executive of the Saatchi Gallery.
