Fabienne joined Bouygues Construction in 1987. With a strong background in project management and operations, she has a wealth of experience in the construction industry, in both the private and the public sector, across numerous sectors. In France, from 2002, she supervised complex projects, including design and build contracts, public-private partnerships and concessions and ensured the successful delivery of a number of major schemes for the Ministry of Justice. In 2012, she was appointed Managing Director for Bouygues Energies & Services Facilities Management business in France and Italy. Prior to becoming Chairman of Bouygues UK in May 2016, Fabienne was CEO for the Western regions of Bouygues Energies & Services.
Fabienne also operates as UK Country Director for Bouygues Construction, a role which involves strengthening co-operation between Bouygues Construction’s businesses: Bouygues UK, Bouygues Energies & Services, Bouygues Travaux Publics and VSL (Bouygues Travaux Publics and VSL are both part of the Civil Works division).
In 2018 (25th of September), Fabienne Viala was appointed New President of the French Chamber of Great Britain.
