Covid-19 safety

As we return to in-person events, please help us keep our members and staff safe, by kindly respecting the following rules:

  • Do not attend the event if you are feeling unwell, have tested positive for Covid-19, or have been asked to self-isolate
  • Abide by the Entry Control measures which are put in place at each event. Participants will be asked to produce a valid NHS or EU Covid Pass to be granted entry, unless specified otherwise. To obtain a Covid Pass, you need to have proof of either:
    • having completed a full course of vaccination since at least two weeks (after two doses of the Moderna, AstraZeneca or Pfizer vaccines, or after one dose of the Janssen vaccine)
    • a negative PCR or rapid lateral flow test taken within 48 hours of the event (a lateral flow test taken at home is acceptable and will need to be reported into the public reporting system)
    • a positive PCR test result for COVID-19, taken between 11 and 180 days before the event.

Visit the Government's website for further information on the NHS Covid Pass and how to obtain it.

  • Continue following measures to prevent transmission:
    • Use the sanitising stations at your disposal, particularly upon arrival, after coughing/blowing your nose, and before eating or drinking
    • Use the bin at the registration desk to safely dispose of your face covering if needed
    • Avoid unnecessary contact with others and surfaces; for example do not shake hands or hug other participants and do not exchange business cards
    • Maintain social distancing where possible
  • Face coverings are no longer mandatory, however, we encourage participants to continue wearing them where possible

Other ways in which we ensure your safety

By asking you to produce a valid NHS Covid Pass to enter our events, we are following Government advice and effectively lowering the risk of transmission at the event.

To limit avoidable contact, we no longer hand out printed materials such as lists of participants and calendars of events. These will be sent via email ahead of the event and  accessible during the event through QR codes displayed around the venue.

We will also provide a NHS Track & Trace QR code at the registration desk. While this is not mandatory, we recommend that you check in at the event to be informed of any confirmed or suspected Covid-19 cases.

We only work with trusted partners who put the utmost care to ensure your safety. Before any event, French Chamber staff ensure that the venue and other providers are taking the necessary measures, such as enhanced and regular cleaning of surfaces, as per Government guidance.
