Pascal CagniFounding Partner, C4 Ventures and Apple EMEIA GM, VP (2000 -2012)

Pascal Cagni is founder and partner at C4Ventures, through which he invests in startups and contributes to their product roadmap and international rollout. Pascal is also a non-executive director at Vivendi, Kingfisher and Style.com, the Condé Nast owned e-commerce website.

He acts as an advisor to executive teams at large private equity and European groups. In 2014, he conducted a strategic review of Net-A-Porter for owner CF Richemont, advising on business re-engineering including IT & e-commerce systems prior to the company’s merger with YOOX.

In 2000, Steve Jobs appointed Pascal as General Manager and Vice President for Apple EMEIA (Europe, Middle East, India and Africa), where he developed an innovative Go-To-Market strategy that included the successful rollout of the Apple Premium Reseller (APR) and Apple Shops. Under Pascal’s leadership, EMEIA was consistently Apple’s fastest growing region, with annual sales increasing from $1.2bn in 2000 to $40bn in 2012.

Before Apple, Pascal led Packard Bell NEC to become the leading European Home Computer Company. Pascal also previously held roles at Compaq and Booz, Allen and Hamilton management consultants.

Pascal Cagni obtained an MA in Political Sciences from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris (Sciences Po), an MA in Business Law from the Robert Schumann University in Strasbourg and an MBA from HEC Paris. He graduated from the Executive Program (EPGC) at Stanford University, CA, USA. He joined the 63rd promotion of IHEDN (Institute for Higher National Defence Studies ). He has been decorated as Knight of the National Order of Merit of France by Mrs Christine Lagarde, Managing Director of IMF.

Pascal is member of the French Foreign Trade Advisors (CCEF) in London. He is also an active participant in the works of Le Cercle d’Outre-Manche.
