Warwick HillCEO-in-Residence - Microsoft Accelerator

Warwick Hill is a New Zealand business executive and currently the CEO-in-Residence and Managing Director of Microsoft Accelerator London (appointed September 2015). He also sits as an advisor to the NHS National Clinical Lead for Innovation as well as the Clinical Entrepreneurial Programme.

Warwick Hill is renowned for successfully building and selling global companies in the digital sector. Most notable is the sale of 3rd Space a Digital Innovations Agency that was bought in June 2013 by the Chinese State Broadcaster, one of the largest media companies in the World.

With over 30 years’ experience in the global technology, telecoms, media and digital sectors Warwick Hill leads Microsoft’s London Accelerator in its mission to take good startups and make them great through an intensive 14-week programme. Innovative companies receive a mentor-based program designed to help them scale to global markets and attract Series A funding.

Warwick takes an active role in mentoring CEOs within Microsoft’s London Accelerator program. A pragmatic and at times brutally honest approach means CEOs graduating from the programme are suitably tested and prepared to engage with enterprise clients as well as late stage investors. Warwick’s experience establishing companies in India, Hong Kong, UK and mainland China mean CEOs receive advice that supports their global aspirations.

Prior to setting up 3rd Space, Warwick built a wholesale carrier services company specialising in India and Middle East voice termination. Incorporated in 2004, IIOS became Reliance's largest global customer and one of the largest Indian minutes’ aggregators in the UK prior to being sold to Vyke plc in May 2009.

Warwick is married and lives in London. He is an active runner and enjoys all things fitness.
