With a Master’s degree in Law from the Catholic University of Leuven, a Master’s degree in Business Law (LLM) from Cornell University in the United States, and a Master’s degree in Taxation from Fiscale Hogeschool (Brussels Tax College), François-Xavier Jeanmart began his career at Linklaters (Brussels) in 1989. Between 1995 and 2000, he worked for Stibbe Simont Monahan Duhot (Brussels), a firm specialising in legal and tax advice for businesses and high-net-worth individuals. After two years at Jones Day Reavis & Pogue, he joined KPMG Tax Services Belgium in 2002 as Head of Tax, where he was responsible for Banks and Financial Institutions. Since 2005, François-Xavier Jeanmart has been Head of Wealth Planning at Cardif Lux Vie. He is also the author of numerous publications and is a regular speaker at seminars.
