Chris Cox has worked in industrial automation software of more than 30 years, and through having worked on Codra’s Panorama intelligent SCADA products for more than 15 years, he has been at the forefront of their international clients establishing these products at the heart of their automation operations. Chris’s knowledge encompass the requirements for many national critical infrastructures such as Railways, Roads, Utility Networks, Oil & Gas Installations, Nuclear and Military sites, etc..
For many customers, combining digital technologies such as The Internet of Things, Big Data Analysis, Machine Learning and Connected Operators with traditional legacy operational automation systems is a big challenge that brings further challenges especially regarding Cybersecurity and the responsibilities brought by the EU NIS (Network and Information Systems) Directive.
Since 2015, Codra have been working directly with ANSSI (Agence Nationale de la Sécurité des Systèmes d'Information) in France to ensure that its products are designed and certified as “Cyber First”, and Chris’s role is to assist major clients to understand how to think similarly in their approach to digital transformations within their automation systems environments. Chris thus acts as an interface for customers to present their cyber issues back into Codra, as well as acting as Codra’s interface to the UK’s NCSC (National Cyber security Centre).
