The recruitment department of the French Chamber is acting as a recruitment agency for its over 530 member companies, one of which is currently looking for an Accounts Assistant.

Our Client

Our client is an international company that provides an integrated, real-time core banking and wealth management software. It operates with financial institutions based in Europe and Asia.

Key Responsibilities

As an Accounts Assistant, you will be in charge of:


  • Own the operation of the company’s bookkeeping ensuring that financial records are kept accurate and up-to-date
  • Process all invoicing
  • Process expenses claims
  • Provide additional support as required to the Finance Manager
  • Manage credit control


  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and own re-ordering processes
  • Help organise specific meetings inside and outside of the office
  • Process travel requests
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support as needed to staff, including to those based overseas
  • Manage outgoing and incoming post
  • Manage changes and updates to payroll


  • At least 1 year of experience in office and finance administration
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
  • Able to prioritise workload
  • At least an advanced level in French
  • Fluent in English

Location: Central London
Salary: £20,000 – £25,000
Type of contract: 6-month FTC, full-time (part-time possible)
Start date: ASAP
