The recruitment department of the French Chamber is acting as a recruitment agency for its over 530 member companies, one of which is currently looking for a Head of Operations.

Our Client

Our client is a fast-paced digital start-up operating in the beauty market. Using technology, this company aims to disrupt the sector.

Key Responsibilities

As a Head of Operations, you will join the leadership team and report to the CEO.

Strategy:

  • Implement the company strategy to drive business value and growth
  • Drive the commercial machine forward
  • Understand the key drivers of the business to make sure key levers and KPIs are understood by the team
  • Optimise routing, tracking to ensure marketplace dynamics

Team:

  • Define strategy and goals for the operations team together with the leadership team
  • Lead and manage an effective operations team
  • Create processes to improve daily operations and handle daily requests
  • Organise regular one-to-one interviews with your team members
  • Ensure smooth business functioning and communications within your team

Operations:

  • Put in place the structures and processes to enable high-growth scale
  • Ensure optimal use of resources within your team
  • Optimise logistics on the digital platform regarding beauticians’ locations
  • Work closely with tech to improve the allocation algorithm
  • Evolve budgets, models and forecasts and provide input on them in relation to the strategic and operational plan for the company
  • Be responsible for the relationships with external service providers by ensuring value for money and quality of service

Profile

  • 2-6 years of experience in operations in start-up/scale-up tech business
  • Relevant knowledge in corporate processes and organisation
  • At least 2 years of experience in team management
  • Strong interest in wellness, beauty, start-ups, digital transformation and new industry
  • Expertise in logistics is a strong plus
  • French is plus but not necessary
  • A curious and ambitious individual

Location: Central London
Salary: £28,000 - £38,000, depending on experience
Type of contract: Permanent, full-time
Start date: ASAP
