The recruitment department of the French Chamber is acting as a recruitment agency for its over 530-member companies, one of which is currently looking for a Head of Standards & Methods.

Our Client

Our client is a company that operates in urban transport in several countries.

As a Head of Standards & Methods, you will manage the Standardization & Methods Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create work instruction and implementation in Maximo software
  • Implement key performance indicators and improvement processes
  • Improve the suitable performance, quality and safety standards for the asset portfolio
  • Drive improved asset performance
  • Develop new maintenance strategies to meet objectives
  • Draft long-term asset management plans
  • Lead the maintenance sub-contractors
  • Take part in investigations of safety critical failures
  • Manage the team and ensure objectives are achieved
  • Promote team spirit
  • Ensure the compliance of safety and quality standards
  • Prepare annual budget and maintenance expenses, and explain monthly budget variances
  • Review the maintenance plan and manuals
  • Inform the management of strategies and performance indicators
  • Ensure environmental and safety rules are respected and alert Technical Director of any issue
  • Undertake any other duties as assigned

Profile

  • At least 8 years of proven experience using Maximo
  • Educated to Master’s degree in mechanical and electrical engineering
  • Experience in safety management and asset management
  • Fluent in French is a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong innovative, creative and strategic-thinking skills
  • Negotiation, decision-making and problem-solving skills

Location: West London
Salary: £70,000
Type of contract: Permanent, Full-time
Start date: ASAP
