The recruitment department of the French Chamber is acting as a recruitment agency for its over 530 member companies, one of which is currently looking for a Sales Manager.

Our Client

Our client is a French fine food producer well known for its gastronomy. This fast-growing company is selling its product in Europe. 

Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Manager, you will be reporting to the Export Manager. 

  • Prospection and commercial follow-up
  • Key account management
  • Follow-up and sales development (Michelin-starred and gourmet restaurants, hotels, retail)
  • Market research on all distribution networks in the United Kingdom and in Ireland, especially in London
  • Management of the London Club100 portfolio
  • Facilitation of private parties
  • Recruitment and management of a trainee
  • Management of the inventory, in liaison with the warehouse
  • Orders and deliveries tracking on a daily basis
  • Ambassador at exhibitions
  • Management the corporate social networks
  • Sales monitoring (products, trends, competition)
  • Creation of a weekly activity report


  • Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Business / Sales
  • Bilingual French/English
  • At least 2 - 3 years of experience working in the fine food industry
  • At least 1 year of experience in team management
  • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong interest in the food industry especially fine food
  • Experience in the industry is a plus
  • Open-minded, autonomous and versatile with a strong result-based culture
  • Good knowledge of London and Fine Food market players would be a plus
  • Entrepreneurial mind

Location: Central London
Salary: £38,000 + annual bonus based on performance
Type of contract: Permanent, full-time
Start date: Mid-September 2019
