Ashley Boolell is a corporate finance adviser with 20 years of experience in cross-border finance, focused on helping SMEs and mid-sized companies access sophisticated financial solutions typically reserved for larger institutions.

In 2024, he founded Ryuken Capital, an FCA-compliant corporate advisory firm that provides: FX hedging and currency risk management, trade finance and asset-based lending, debt capital raising (senior debt, mezzanine, and structured finance), commodities hedging for energy and metals.

Beyond his advisory work, Ashley was appointed Foreign Trade Advisor for France in the UK in 2023, with a focus on the financial and energy sectors. He also serves as Chair of the French Circle at the National Liberal Club and is a member of the Worshipful Company of Fuellers.

An author of seven books, Ashley’s work includes Shotgun Insights (2023), which shares business lessons drawn from unconventional sources.
