Frederick Fischer, Managing Director of Lalique UK & Eire is originally from Alsace but moved to London 20 years ago. He started his career as a journalist having studied at the Ecole Française des Attachés de Presse and worked on various design and lifestyle magazines but caught the retail bug at Louis Vuitton in Paris where he worked at weekends and was offered a permanent job. Frederick joined Lalique in 2000 and 'never looked back'.

Since moving to London – sent from Paris to ‘rescue’ the Sloane Street Lalique Boutique, Frederick has opened 6 new Lalique UK stores – Burlington Arcade, Conduit Street, Bicester Village, Harrods, The Glenturret Scotland and the first Lalique Art Gallery in the world in London’s Burlington Arcade.

On the wholesale side of the business, he oversees 50 doors both in the UK and in Ireland. He became MD of Lalique Limited in 2012 and has since increased its turnover by 250%. The British subsidiary has now become the highest the revenue for Lalique in Europe
