Theme: Embracing immersive tech with Mixed Reality as a Service While some companies have already adopted Mixed Reality and HoloLens applications, the price tag of the device has been perceived as a barrier for adoption among others. This is why it’s significant to see a partnership between Microsoft and Econocom | JTRS to rollout a new Mixed Reality as a Service offering, which will allow customers to get a HoloLens on a subscription basis across Europe.
About Econocom: Econocom is a European digital services company with more than 10,700 employees in 19 countries and revenue of €3 billion. Econocom ensures the successful implementation of large-scale digital projects thanks to its strong expertise in procurement, services support and financing. In the UK, Microsoft is partnering with JTRS and parent firm Econocom to offer a ‘Mixed Reality as Service’ package. The only one of its kind on the European market, this turnkey offering combines the state-of-the-art HoloLens technology, related services and apps, all wrapped up in a flexible subscription model.
