Chanel, le19M and The King's Foundation Metiers d'Art Fellowship Exhibition 2026

On Tuesday 15 September, our members enjoyed a delightful moment - out of time - in collaboration with his Majesty's Foundation and Chanel, le19M.
On 15 September, members of the French Chamber of Great Britain gathered at Garrison Chapel for an exclusive preview of the 2026 Métiers d’Art Graduate Exhibition.
The event celebrated the exceptional craftsmanship and creativity of the 48 graduating artisan Fellows from The King’s Foundation’s Métiers d’Art programmes.
Guests discovered the work developed through the unique partnership between CHANEL, le19M and The King’s Foundation, which combines heritage craftsmanship with contemporary creativity. The exhibition showcased the Fellows’ dedication across disciplines including embroidery, millinery and fashion production, highlighting the precision and artistry behind each piece.
The programme offers emerging artisans intensive training, expert mentorship and the opportunity to refine techniques rooted in traditional métiers d’art.
Members had the opportunity to explore the creations and gain insight into the importance of preserving and passing on these highly specialised skills to future generations.
The morning provided an inspiring celebration of Franco-British collaboration, craftsmanship and the next generation of talent shaping the future of the fashion industry.
Thank you again to the King's Foundation for hosting this beautiful event.
