Join us this September to celebrate King's Foundation Métiers d'Art's 48 graduating artisan Fellows at an intimate morning at the Garrison Chapel.

CHANEL and The King’s Foundation are both committed to preserving traditional crafts and specialist skills, whilst creating opportunities for the next generation of artisans in the UK.

This vision is shared by le19M, the Parisian hub established by CHANEL to unite 11 of the Maisons d’art acquired by the House under one roof. The 25,500m2 building is home to over 700 artisans and the renowned training facility École Lesage, along with a multidisciplinary gallery, la Galerie du 19M.

In 2023, CHANEL developed an education partnership with le19M and The King’s Foundation, aimed at postgraduate students. The three intensive residential programmes include the Embroidery and Millinery Fellowships based at the CHANEL Métiers d’Art Training Atelier at Highgrove, and the Fashion Production Atelier Fellowship at Dumfries House.

Supported by the vision of The King’s Foundation, these programmes combine excellence, tradition, and innovation, offering Fellows the opportunity to expand and refine their technique, ready to contribute to the future of the fashion industry.

The programmes are delivered by expert artisans and tutors at The King’s Foundation, with mentorship and guidance from CHANEL and le19M. Students also benefit from training at Lesage, Atelier Montex, Lemarié, Maison Michel and Paloma in Paris, drawing on the extensive savoir-faire of CHANEL and the le19M network.

To date, 48 students have participated in these programmes, and we are delighted to share the work of this year's graduates at Garrison Chapel in September.
