Patron: Aligning for Growth - A Business Perspective on the UK-EU Reset (roundtable in partnership with Best for Britain) - [SOLD OUT]
Our Patron members are invited for an insightful morning with Rachel Blake, Labour MP for Cities of London and Westminster.
This breakfast session is hosted in support of Best for Britain’s campaign advocating for closer UK-EU alignment on goods. The roundtable is designed to feed into the upcoming UK-EU “Reset Summit” on the 19th May, where the UK government is expected to outline its next steps on trade and regulatory cooperation with the EU.
The attendees will be presented with Best for Britain’s new economic modelling (by Frontier Economics), which shows that closer UK-EU alignment on goods could deliver up to 1.5% uplift in UK GDP, with potential protection against US tariff shocks.
Rachel Blake, Labour MP for the Cities of London and Westminster, member of the UK Trade and Business Commission and member of the Treasury Select Committee will be present to share her thoughts on the topic.
This event is by invitation only and aimed at Senior business representatives from the manufacturing and goods-exporting industry.
What to expect:
- A short presentation on the research and national polling
- Open discussion with a small group of peer businesses
- A policy briefing from Rachel Blake MP
- A clear call to action ahead of the Summit
