Young people still want what previous generations wanted: a fulfilling career, a home, a family. What has changed is their confidence that they’ll ever get there.

Join us to explore what this “attainability gap” means for the workplace. Drawing on research across the UK and France, this session asks why the “Gen Z” label needs careful use, why education no longer feels like a guaranteed route to opportunity, and how a longer “twentysomething” life stage is reshaping what young people expect from employers.

Emilie Rochester, Senior Content Manager at Ipsos, will offer an exclusive preview of the upcoming Ipsos Workplace Reality Report, revealing how younger employees differ from older colleagues in commitment, career ambitions and the support they really need. Bethan Coe, Head of Recruitment, Internal Mobility and Future Talent at Ipsos will bring the employer perspective on how organisations are responding. 

The session will be moderated by Melanie Stancliffe, Employment Partner at Freeths.
