Building the future of the Franco-British relationship: a conversation with Stephen Crabb MP and Alexandre Holroyd

With the European Parliament voting in favour of the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement, the timing couldn’t have been better to catch up with the Rt Hon Stephen Crabb MP, Chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group for France, and Alexandre Holroyd, Member of the French National Assembly representing French citizens in Northern Europe, to discuss the state of the bilateral relationship after Brexit.

Both Parliamentarians opened with a broadly optimistic assessment of the current situation, noting that a great deal of co-operation and contact is taking place between the two administrations even though collaboration doesn’t get the same media cut-through as the difficulties and differences.
