HR Club: talent mobility post-Brexit
Tuesday 10th May saw the launch of our HR Club at the offices of Cripps Pemberton Greenish.
The club will provide a dedicated network for human resources leaders across our membership, meeting quarterly to discuss HR-related topics, trends, and best-practice ideas.
The launch event featured a presentation on the theme of ‘Talent mobility post-Brexit’ given by Sheena Kerr and Hetal Hirani, representing the Home Office’s Migration Advisory Committee (MAC). Attendees heard about the latest post-Brexit trends within the labour market, including the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as about how the government’s Shortage Occupation List (SOL) is compiled and reviewed.
The talk was followed by a question-and-answer session co-chaired by Pia Dekkers, HR Director at Chanel, and Melanie Stancliffe, Employment Partner at Cripps Pemberton Greenish.
