The Chamber

Festive Greetings from the French Chamber

As we enter the festive season, and a period of well-deserved rest and relaxation, we would like to thank you all for your support and engagement with the Chamber. Our continued success is based on the relationships we have built together.

It is an understatement to say that 2020 has been a challenging year. However, despite the unprecedented disruption caused by Covid-19, our Franco-British community has adapted in remarkable ways, both personally and professionally.

As a Chamber, we are proud to have continued to deliver support and services to our members and clients throughout this challenging time. The team has put together a snapshot of our 2020 Highlights.

As the end of year approaches, we know there will be many more challenges ahead. The lack of a deal between the UK and EU at this very late stage is prolonging uncertainty for businesses, while there is some optimism in terms of the vaccine roll-out as organisations on both sides of the Channel plan for recovery.

Against this backdrop, we want you to benefit from the relationships, conversations, insights and support the Chamber offers – to stand together and show the strength of Franco-British business. There will be plenty of opportunity for this in 2021, and our new Managing Director Marilise Saghbini will be sharing more on the priorities for the next 12 months in the New Year.

In the meantime, thank you once again for your continued support and engagement.

Fabienne Viala
President of the French Chamber of Great Britain
