Julian BraithwaiteDirector General in the Cabinet Office responsible for the EU

Julian joined the Cabinet Office in June 2021 from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office where he served as Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the UK Mission to the WTO, UN and Other International Organisations in Geneva from April 2015. His previous roles have included Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the Political and Security Committee of the EU as well as Director of Communications, Office of the High Representative, Bosnia and Herzegovina, amongst others.
