Julie graduated as a chemical engineer and holds a Master of Science from Imperial College London, which she supplemented with a professional training in finance (CFA) while working for 4 years in investment banking in London.

She cofounded BARJANE in 2006 with her brother Léo Barlatier.

BARJANE conceive, develop and manage logistics and industrial buildings in the UK and France and has completed more than 7 million square feet of buildings so far.

BARJANE is involved at each phase of the projects from planning the initial design to realisation, including ongoing asset management together with the installation of photovoltaic power plants on the roofs.

As the ultimate investor and long-term owner of the buildings it develops, BARJANE’s objective is to procure best in class projects in terms of architectural, landscaping and environmental qualities.

Conscious of the impact of construction activities on the environment, BARJANE has chosen to structure its CSR strategy around internationally recognised standards and labels and is a member of the United Nations global Compact.

Julie Barlatier-Prieuret was made a Knight of the French National Order of Merit in 2019 by the French Minister Elisabeth Borne to thank her for her commitment to sustainable development.
