Alexandre Holroyd Member of the French Parliament representing French citizens in the north of Europe

A member of Emmanuel Macron's En Marche movement, Alexandre Holroyd was elected as a Member of the French National Assembly on the 18th June 2017 representing French citizens living in Northern Europe (Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, the United Kingdom and Sweden).
Prior to his election, he worked for a global business advisory firm.

As a member of the French National Assembly, he sits on the Finance Commission, where he coordinates the work of the majority party, as well as on the European Affairs Commission. At the request of the Prime Minister in 2019, he conducted an enquiry to evaluate best practices in green finance and the organisation of financial markets in the European Union. His final report set out 24 recommendations for the government to strengthen the international leadership of the Paris financial centre on green finance and marshal private savings to finance the green recovery.

He was the rapporteur in charge of the Brexit bill at the French national Assembly, which allowed the government to take the necessary measures in case of a no-deal Brexit.

Deeply committed to the Franco-British relationship, he is the President of the Franco-British parliamentary friendship group and a member of the Franco-British Young Leaders.  He is also a member of the Franco-German Parliament.
