Launched in March 2015, TheHouseShop.com, aims to become the leading marketplace for services related to residential sales and lettings in the UK. TheHouseShop offers free property advertising, alongside tenant referencing, rent collection and rent guarantee insurance and other services to private individuals and estate agents. It is an integrated one-stop-shop that intends to disrupt the traditional approach to buying and selling property by offering a free of charge option for all players (estate agents, private buyers/sellers, landlords and tenants). TheHouseShop already attracts more than 30,000 daily visitors and already has more than 300,000 properties listed. It is the 3rd largest property portal in the UK by number of properties. Until December 2011, Sébastien was Managing Director and Global Head of Inflation Trading at Citi, offering liquidity and structured solutions on all inflation-linked products around the globe. Sébastien previously worked for ABN-AMRO and Credit-Agricole Indosuez in similar roles. He has more than 15 years’ experience trading fixed income products, having run businesses with an annual revenue exceeding $250m. He has been involved in many of the major innovations performed by the European sovereign and corporate issuers in the inflation-linked market. He has been a regular speaker at major conferences and prime time television programmes, including Bloomberg TV. He is also the author of Inflation Linked Products: A Guide for Investors and Asset & Liability Managers, and an editor of Inflation Risks and Products: The Complete Guide (Risk Books, 2009). As a worldwide expert in inflation linked securities, Sebastien continues to act as an expert witness in financial litigations.
