Championing female leaders in tech

On April 19th, we welcomed our members at The French Residence for an open discussion around tools and initiatives to foster female talent

We often hear about improving women’s access to careers where they are typically underrepresented, such as tech. However, less is said about ensuring they can continue to progress to leadership and senior leadership positions. Getting one’s foot in the door is key, but once you’re in – how do you go up?

Our panel of experts, composed of Victoria Armstrong, Angel Investor, Founder and Advisor, Female Founders Rise, Aneta Jajkowska, Senior Director, People & Organisation Partner at Dassault Systemes and Dale Lovell, SVP Advertising at OpenWeb, discussed some of the initiatives that have proven to foster opportunities for women, from high-value networking to building specific skills and benefitting from leadership programmes.

Co-organised with the Ambassade de France au Royaume-Uni, La French Tech London and Business France, the session was chaired by Nina Goswami, Head of Inclusion UK at Clifford Chance and hosted by The French Residence.
