On 12 February, members are invited to an informative session on the V.I.E. program, covering international career opportunities & key legal insights.

Start your morning with insights and connections at V.I.E. Program*: Global Opportunities and Legal Considerations, an event hosted in partnership with Business France and Kingsley Napley.

Hear from Karen Soman, VIE Administrator UK and Ireland, Nick Rollason, Head of Immigration at Kingsley Napley and Kim Vowden, Immigration Partner at Kingsley Napley, as they explore emerging international business trends, provide a clear understanding of the VIE program, and outline the key legal considerations involved.

This breakfast session will be the perfect opportunity to engage in informal discussions with peers, institutional representatives, and legal experts — all over a relaxed morning setting.

Key topics include:

1. V.I.E. - how it works for internships in the UK
2. Current trends and challenges for companies recruiting foreign nationals in the UK
3. UK government proposals, including earned settlement and UK-EU youth experience scheme
